Terms of use

These terms apply to the use of KOR, online software operated by Karim Hallouch ("we"). By creating an account, you accept them on behalf of your company.

The service

KOR lets you do takeoffs on plans, estimates and schedules, and manage tasks. We improve it regularly; a feature may change, with reasonable notice if it is removed.

Accounts

You are responsible for your company's accounts, for keeping passwords confidential and for what is done with your access. The owner of the company account manages the subscription and members.

Your calculations are yours to check

KOR calculates quantities, prices and durations from your measurements, templates and settings. Starter templates, prices and production rates are starting points. You are responsible for checking quantities, prices, taxes and schedules before using them, especially in a bid or a contract.

Trial, pricing and payment

• 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
• Monthly plan at the price shown when you subscribe ($69 per month for 3 users, $10 per month per additional user), applicable taxes extra, paid monthly in advance by card.
• Your price does not change as long as your subscription stays active. If we change our prices, only new subscriptions are affected; a subscription that is cancelled and restarted takes the current price.
• A special price (complimentary access, founder price) may be granted in writing; it is shown in your account.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime in the Subscription tab; full access continues until the end of the paid month. Months already started are not refunded, except for a billing error on our part. After the subscription ends, your projects stay read-only: you can view and export them, and nothing is deleted without notice (see the privacy policy).

Your data

You keep ownership of your plans, projects and data. You allow us to host and process them only to provide the service. You can export them at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not try to access another company's data, disrupt the service, copy or resell it, and only upload plans and documents you have the right to use.

Availability and liability

We do our best to keep KOR available and reliable, but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the 12 months before the event, and we are not liable for indirect losses (profits, contracts). Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Québec's Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

Termination

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, with notice when possible.

Changes and governing law

We will notify you at least 30 days before a significant change to these terms. They are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada; the courts of Québec have jurisdiction.
