Paint calculator
Gallons of finish paint and primer for walls and ceilings. Enter your dimensions: the result updates as you type.
How it's calculated
- Wall area = length × height × painted sides.
- Finish paint = area × coats ÷ coverage of one gallon, + waste, rounded up (walls and ceilings calculated separately).
- Primer = area ÷ coverage of one gallon (1 coat), + waste, rounded up.
Measure once. The rest follows.
In KOR, this calculation happens on its own from your plans: the paint reuses the walls already measured for the framing, and the height follows the wall's.
